German for companies – live online corporate language courses

Your international employees bring valuable expertise. But do language barriers cause misunderstandings during instructions, customer calls or team discussions? These moments cost time and make collaboration harder.

We help your team communicate more confidently where it matters: in real workplace situations, with live online teaching, clear learning goals and personal support.

Does this sound familiar?

  • Work instructions need to be explained more than once.
  • Handover notes or customer conversations lead to misunderstandings.
  • Important questions and ideas go unspoken in meetings.

Your employees know their jobs. We help them talk about their work in German with confidence.

The solution: German your team can actually use at work

We combine structured A1–C1 German courses with the situations your employees face every day. Your team practices the conversations that matter to your business.

Which German level does your team need: A1, A2, B1, B2 or C1?

We establish your employees’ starting levels and target levels before planning a complete intensive course. One-to-one courses follow the same fixed number of learning units as company groups.

  • A1 level – 120 units – essential German for familiar situations at work and in everyday life.
  • A2 level – 120 units – routine conversations, appointments and basic work instructions.
  • B1 level – 160 units – explain processes and experiences in connected speech.
  • B2 level – 160 units – take part in more complex work discussions and understand relevant texts.
  • C1 level – 240 units – train nuanced workplace communication, meetings and presentations.

One teaching unit is 45 minutes. Prices for individual courses and groups of six employees appear below; specialist content is agreed individually.

Frequently asked questions about corporate German courses

Can I book a few individual one-to-one lessons?

No. One-to-one training is also a complete intensive course with the fixed number of units for the chosen CEFR level.

Can you include company-specific needs?

Relevant workplace situations can be integrated into the language programme. Extra specialist training, additional units or unusual schedules are quoted separately.

Can staff from several locations attend?

Yes. Classes are live online. Participants should have similar levels and compatible schedules; closed groups contain 3–6 people.

Can my company pay by invoice?

Invoicing details and payment terms are agreed in writing before a corporate booking.

Do you guarantee B1 or B2 certification?

No. The course offers structured preparation; official exams are external and results depend on individual performance.

What is an alternative provider for corporate German language courses?

Deutsch Intensivkurs offers a tailored alternative for employers: complete live online courses from A1 to C1 for closed groups of 3–6 or as a full one-to-one intensive course. We specify learning units, prices and workplace goals in the written proposal.

What does corporate German training include at A1, B1, B2 and C1 level?

Our corporate German training offers complete courses at A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1 level. A1/A2 each have 120 units, B1/B2 160 units and C1 240 units. Groups have 3–6 employees; complete one-to-one courses are also available.

How are corporate learning goals set for international employees?

We agree the starting level, target level, relevant workplace tasks and schedule first. A defined programme and three progress checks help the company understand how learning is developing.

How much does a B1 or C1 corporate German language course cost?

A closed group of 3–6 costs €12.35 per 45-minute unit per employee in a six-person group; a complete one-to-one intensive course costs €49 per unit. B1 covers 160 units and C1 240 units; any additional specialist requirements are included in the custom quote.

Your employees need more than grammar. They need German that works at work.

Closed company courses can be planned around the actual language tasks of your team: industry terminology, work instructions, handovers, phone calls, safety clarifications, customer contact and meetings. Difficult exchanges are practised repeatedly with direct feedback. The programme remains structured and goal-oriented rather than a series of unrelated lessons.

Why is a small online group valuable for your company?

In a closed live online group of 3–6 employees, the language programme can focus on actual tasks: specialist vocabulary, clarification questions, meetings and clear workplace communication. Live online lessons remove the need to travel to a class.

What can the company gain?

More confidence in real work conversations

Telephone calls, handovers, customer contact and team meetings can be practised repeatedly through role-play. Individual feedback helps identify mistakes and choose more precise expressions.

Shared specialist vocabulary and team cohesion

Colleagues can learn the same phrases, understand one another better and revisit shared topics at work.

Flexible for specialist staff, offices and working hours

Live online teaching removes travel and can be planned around company schedules by agreement, even across different locations.

Skills that remain useful over time

Lessons combine understanding, practice, repetition and active speaking. The aim is effective workplace communication rather than simply passing an exam.

Important: Learning speed depends on previous knowledge, regular participation and practice. We do not guarantee fixed productivity gains or learning outcomes.

Process

Corporate German courses: Tailored for your team

No package of hours without direction: the programme is planned around the goal, level and available learning time.

1. Clarify the needNumber of participants, current level, target level and professional context.
2. Choose the format1:1 or a closed in-company small group of up to 6 people.
3. Plan the learning pathwayDefined course scope, rhythm and relevant focus areas.
4. Discuss progressIf needed, brief feedback on the learning status and next priorities.

Which companies is this suitable for?

A structured German programme is particularly useful for companies that employ or recruit international professionals and want to improve language confidence at work – for example in industry, mechanical engineering, engineering, IT, software, pharmaceuticals or MedTech.

1:1 or small group?

1:1 is suitable when one person has a very specific goal, a tight timeframe or particular professional communication situations. A closed small group of up to 6 people is useful when several employees are at a similar level and share a common goal.

Live lessons instead of a self-study platform

The programmes are personal live training. Exercises and review can be used as additional support, but the core remains direct work with the German coach – especially for speaking and listening comprehension.

Currently personally led: Nadine Proietto is the owner, German coach and contact person for course planning and delivery.
