Formation of the contract

A course enquiry sent through the website is initially non-binding. Submitting the enquiry does not constitute an order requiring payment. A contract is concluded only when Deutsch Intensivkurs confirms the course place in writing. The confirmation includes the agreed course details, the total price and payment information. The invoice is issued after payment has been received.

Course format

Intensive courses are sold as complete programmes at an overall price. Provisional start and end dates are published for group courses. In the event of teacher illness or other unexpected lesson cancellations, individual lesson dates and the course end date may change. Cancelled teaching units are made up; the booked total number of units remains unchanged. Affected participants will be informed as early as possible. Statutory rights remain unaffected. Individual 1:1 intensive courses are booked as a complete course, with the timetable agreed individually.

Payment and invoice

Payment is made after booking confirmation by bank transfer or PayPal. Once payment has been received, an invoice is issued directly by Independence Blueprint di Nadine Tatiana Elena Proietto. We currently do not offer a separate instalment-payment arrangement of our own.

Consumers’ right of withdrawal

Consumers concluding a distance contract for services generally have a 14-day withdrawal period beginning when the contract is concluded. Details and a sample declaration are set out in our withdrawal information.

If the participant expressly requests that live teaching begin during the withdrawal period, this request is documented before the course starts. If the participant then withdraws within the 14-day period, the proportion of services already provided at the time of withdrawal must be paid for. This is calculated proportionally from the agreed total price in relation to the course units already delivered.

Missed teaching units

A place in a group course is reserved for the complete agreed course period. If a participant misses a scheduled lesson for personal reasons, that unit remains part of the booked course and is not automatically refunded or delivered again. Course materials intended for that lesson will be provided to the participant.

Examinations

Deutsch Intensivkurs neither conducts nor books official telc or Goethe examinations. Exam registration, location and fees are arranged separately with the respective examination centre.

Learning outcomes

Regular attendance, active participation and the planned learning activities are required to make progress. Even with targeted exam preparation and mock exams, passing an external exam cannot be guaranteed.
