Why an intensive course needs many lesson units.
Fast learning does not come from one single long study day. It comes from using, reviewing and actively retrieving German frequently with guidance. That is exactly what the many lesson units are for.
For us, many lesson units mean
Language becomes retrievable through frequent use.
Understanding an explanation once is not enough. Words and structures need to return and be used in new situations.
Frequent contact
From Monday to Friday, German stays present. There are no long learning gaps between lessons.
More repetitions
New content is revisited several times instead of being replaced immediately by the next topic after one lesson.
More application
The additional lesson units are not just explanation time. They create room for you to speak, listen, respond and correct errors yourself.
Many lesson units do not mean you have to study for hours every evening.
A1 to B2 deliberately take place for 90 minutes daily. C1 comprises 135 minutes in the morning. The high total number comes from the daily frequency over several weeks.
Why so many lesson units?
Do I really need that many lesson units?
If you want to progress quickly and confidently, you need not only new explanations but many opportunities for application and review.
Are 90 minutes per day not too little then?
No. The intensity comes from five focused sessions per week. This keeps A1–B2 practical for everyday life without giving up the daily frequency.
Are all lesson units live teaching?
Yes. The stated lesson units are part of the live course. Optional additional material comes on top.
Why no additional compulsory homework?
Because the core review already takes place as an integral part of the lessons. More about learning without compulsory homework →
