Book a live online intensive German course in Germany, Austria or Switzerland
Yes, you can join our German intensive courses from Munich, Vienna, Klagenfurt, Zurich or anywhere else in the DACH region. Classes are 100% live online in small groups of 3–6 learners. You do not need a local language school or to travel to a classroom.
Where can I book an online German intensive course?
From anywhere in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, you can enquire about live online German classes from A1 to C1. You learn in real time with a teacher and other participants, not by watching recordings alone.
Germany: Munich, Berlin, Hamburg and beyond
Whether you live in Munich, Berlin, Hamburg or a smaller town, you can join from home or a suitable workplace. Fixed evening classes are particularly practical for people who work during the day because there is no commute.
Austria: Vienna, Klagenfurt, Graz and beyond
You can attend exactly the same live classes from Vienna, Klagenfurt or Graz. Published times match your local clock: no time-zone conversion is required.
Switzerland: Zurich, Basel, Bern or Lugano
Classes may help with professional and everyday communication in German-speaking Switzerland. Learners from Italian-speaking Switzerland, for example Lugano, can also attend. We teach Standard German, not Swiss German dialect.
What time are online German classes in Germany, Austria and Switzerland?
Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy use the same course times. All follow Central European Time and change to and from summer time on the same dates.
| Courses | Time | Units per course | Per 45-minute unit |
|---|---|---|---|
| A1.1 to A2.2 | Mon–Fri, 17:30–19:00 | 60 × 45 minutes | €12.35 |
| B1.1 to B2.2 | Mon–Fri, 19:30–21:00 | 80 × 45 minutes | €12.35 |
| C1.1 / C1.2 | Current schedule on the C1 course page | 120 × 45 minutes | See course offer |
Each 90-minute lesson contains two teaching units. Start and end dates are provisional; holiday breaks and any replacement lessons are explained on the course page.
Why choose a small online German group over a large class?
With only 3–6 learners, there is more opportunity to speak, ask questions and receive individual corrections. Tricky topics such as accusative, dative, declension and pronunciation can be revisited until they make sense.
| Question | Large class | Our small group |
|---|---|---|
| How many learners? | Many people share the class time | 3–6 learners |
| How much speaking? | Speaking time is shared among more people | More opportunity to participate actively |
| What about grammar questions? | Less time may be available to go deeper | More opportunity for questions and revision |
| Where are classes? | Online or onsite depending on provider | 100% live online, no travel |
These are potential benefits, not guarantees about speed or examination results. Find out more about small-group learning.
How can I enquire about a course or reserve my interest?

- Send your free, non-binding enquiry.
- Complete your booking and payment after receiving a personal invitation.
Can I join from Italy or another country?
Yes, if the class language, your internet connection and local time work for you. Italy has the same course time as the DACH region. For other countries, including Russia, the suitability depends on the specific local time zone and the available classes. Our main focus remains Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
What will I learn beyond exam practice?
The focus is lasting understanding and practical use: revisiting vocabulary, active speaking, improving pronunciation and using grammar in conversation. There is no compulsory homework; revision is built into lessons. Relevant Goethe and telc exam preparation is integrated.
